Sony HT-A3000 Dolby Atmos Soundbar

The HT-A3000 is the latest entry in Sony's popular soundbar line-up, delivering cinematic sound with five built-in speakers and Dolby Atmos decoding. This bar uses powerful sound processing to produce a wide, immersive soundstage that adds excitement to movies, dramas, concerts and sports events. It even has a pair of built-in subwoofers to reinforce the action onscreen with punchy bass.

Versatile music streaming options

The HT-A3000 comes with several built-in options for playing your music and other content wirelessly. There's Bluetooth built in for mobile devices, plus Wi-Fi streaming for playing files on your home network. Apple AirPlay 2 makes it simple to play music and more from iOS® devices. For Android™ users the bar also streams content through Chromecast built-in, via a wide range of compatible apps, HT-A3000 also supports Spotify Connect.

You can even control the sound bar and make song selections using a Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice controller (sold separately).

Simple setup

You’ll have the HT-A3000 up and running  in minutes. Just connect the bar directly to your TV with the included HDMI cable. With eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), you can receive uncompressed audio signals including Dolby Atmos from an eARC-equipped TV. You can then control the sound bar with simple top-panel buttons or the included remote.

X-Balanced Speaker Unit

The built-in dual subwoofer and front speakers feature an X-Balanced Speaker Unit. The unique rectangular shape of these speakers maximises the diaphragm area for more punchy bass. It also reduces driver excursion while maintaining sound pressure, resulting in less distortion and greater vocal clarity.

High-res music playback

If you have a collection of high-resolution music files you can play them via USB on the HT-A3000. DSEE Extreme™ (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) even upscales digital audio files, so you can enjoy better sound with compressed formats like MP3.

Easy upgrade options with wireless add-ons

To further enhance the performance of the HT-A3000 you can add the optional 200-watt SA-SW3 or 300-watt SA-SW5 wireless subwoofer (sold separately). These subs were designed to complement the HT-A3000 and connect wirelessly for easy placement and setup. Just turn them on, and they'll automatically pair in seconds.

By adding the optional SA-RS3S wireless surround kit (sold separately) you can experience a fully authentic surround sound experience. The speakers also connect wirelessly to the sound bar, so you only need to plug into a power socket instead of running speaker wire across your room. Just like the subwoofers, this connection happens automatically when you power the speakers on.

Supports Sony 360 Spatial Sound Mapping

Adding a pair of optional surround speakers unlocks Sony's powerful 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology. This advanced virtual processing simulates multiple "phantom speakers" to make you feel like the sound is coming from every direction.
