Arcam A25+ Integrated Amplifier

The Arcam A25+ is the most powerful and versatile integrated amplifier in the Radia+ range, combining 100 watts per channel of Class G amplification with a high-resolution ESS DAC, HDMI eARC, USB-C, a carefully tuned MM phono stage and advanced Bluetooth connectivity.

100W Class G Amplification

At the heart of the A25+ is Arcam’s 5th-generation Class G amplifier design, developed to combine the low distortion and refinement associated with Class A operation at lower levels with greater efficiency and additional power when required.

The A25+ delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, rising to 165 watts per channel into 4 ohms, giving it the authority to drive a wide range of high-quality bookshelf and floorstanding loudspeakers with confidence.

Enhanced Power Supply

The A25+ features an upgraded power supply designed to improve stability, control and dynamic performance. Combined with its Class G output stage, this allows the amplifier to remain composed across a wide range of listening levels, from subtle acoustic recordings through to demanding orchestral and rock music.

High-Resolution ESS DAC

Digital playback is handled by a high-resolution ESS ES9018 DAC, giving the A25+ a refined digital front end for streamers, CD transports, televisions and computers. The USB-C input supports audio up to 32-bit/384kHz, while the other digital inputs support sample rates up to 24-bit/192kHz.

USB-C for Ultra Hi-Res Audio

The addition of USB-C makes the A25+ particularly attractive for customers using a computer or compatible digital source as part of a high-resolution music system. With support for sample rates up to 384kHz, the USB input allows the internal ESS DAC to handle high-resolution material directly.

HDMI eARC for TV Sound

Vinyl playback is catered for with a dedicated moving magnet phono input. Arcam pays particular attention to its built-in phono stages, and the A25+ is designed to preserve the detail, dynamics and natural tonal balance of vinyl playback without requiring an external phono preamplifier.

Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless

Wireless audio is handled by Bluetooth 5.4 with support for Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC. This gives compatible phones, tablets and computers the ability to stream high-quality audio wirelessly, while still retaining the convenience expected from everyday Bluetooth playback.

Auracast Wireless Audio

The A25+ also supports Auracast, allowing compatible headphones or speakers to receive the same wireless audio stream without conventional one-to-one pairing. Bluetooth operates in both receiver and transmitter modes, so the amplifier can receive music wirelessly or send audio to compatible wireless headphones.

Wired or Wireless Headphones

A dedicated headphone output supports loads from 16 ohms to 2k ohms, making the A25+ suitable for a wide variety of wired headphones. Wireless headphone listening is also supported via Bluetooth, giving users a choice between traditional wired operation and compatible wireless models.

Flexible Analogue and Digital Connectivity

Three stereo RCA analogue inputs provide connections for traditional hi-fi sources, while the dedicated MM phono input handles a turntable.
