The ARCAM AVA15 is a high-performance AV amplifier designed to deliver immersive home cinema with the musical refinement for which ARCAM is well known. Combining nine channels of Class D amplification, advanced surround processing, Dirac Live room correction and comprehensive streaming support, it provides a powerful foundation for a serious home cinema system.

Capable of powering configurations such as 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 directly, the AVA15 is equally suited to film, television, gaming and music, with enough flexibility to expand through its 12-channel processing and pre-output section.

Nine Channels of ARCAM Class D Amplification

At the heart of the AVA15 are nine channels of high-power Class D amplification. ARCAM rates the amplifier at 85 watts per channel into 8 ohms with two channels driven, rising to 150 watts into 4 ohms, with strong multi-channel performance for demanding surround systems.

The result is clean, controlled and dynamic sound with enough headroom to handle everything from subtle dialogue and atmospheric effects to large-scale cinematic soundtracks.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

The AVA15 supports the latest immersive surround formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, allowing sound to be placed around and above the listening position for a more convincing three-dimensional experience.

It also supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Surround, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualisation, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS Neural:X and DTS Virtual:X, giving you broad compatibility across films, streaming services and legacy content.

Dirac Live Room Correction

Every room affects the way a system sounds, which is why the AVA15 includes Dirac Live Room Correction.

Using the supplied calibration microphone, Dirac measures the acoustic behaviour of your room and applies correction to improve tonal balance, timing and overall coherence.

The AVA15 can also be upgraded with Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment, offering even greater control over bass integration and multi-speaker performance in more advanced installations.

Up to 12-Channel Processing

Although the AVA15 includes nine channels of built-in amplification, it can process up to 12 channels in total.

A full set of RCA preamp outputs allows additional external power amplifiers to be added for more complex surround layouts, extra height channels or expanded subwoofer configurations. This makes the AVA15 a flexible choice for systems that may grow over time.

HDMI 2.1 with 8K and 4K/120Hz Support

The AVA15 is equipped with seven HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, with HDMI 2.1a and HDCP 2.3 support.

It handles video signals up to 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz, making it ideal for current-generation gaming consoles, high-performance media players and modern 4K or 8K displays.

High-Resolution Music Streaming

The AVA15 is equally comfortable as the centre of a music system. Built-in streaming support includes Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect, while the amplifier is also Roon Ready.

Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Internet Radio, Podcasts and UPnP playback are supported through the new ARCAM Radia AV Control app. High-resolution files up to 24-bit/192kHz are supported, including FLAC, WAV, ALAC and AIFF.

Advanced Bluetooth Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.4 support includes Snapdragon Sound and Auracast, providing high-quality wireless playback and greater flexibility with compatible devices.

The AVA15 can operate as both a Bluetooth receiver and transmitter, making it possible to stream music into the amplifier or send audio wirelessly to compatible headphones.

Large Colour Display and Elegant Radia Styling

The AVA15 adopts ARCAM’s latest Radia design language, combining a clean, contemporary exterior with a large 6.5-inch high-resolution colour display.

The display presents clear system information and metadata from across the room, while the new ARCAM Radia AV Control app simplifies setup, source selection, streaming and day-to-day control. A backlit Bluetooth remote control is also supplied.

Comprehensive Connectivity

Alongside its HDMI inputs, the AVA15 provides a useful range of analogue and digital connections.

There are three stereo RCA analogue inputs, two coaxial digital inputs and two optical digital inputs, together with 12 RCA preamp outputs for expansion.
