ARCAM SA45 Streaming Integrated Amplifier

The ARCAM SA45 is a flagship-level all-in-one streaming amplifier designed for dedicated music lovers who want exceptional sound quality, serious power and comprehensive connectivity in a single component.

With 180 watts per channel of 5th-generation Class G amplification, a fully balanced analogue and digital architecture, high-resolution streaming up to 32-bit/384kHz, MM and MC phono inputs, HDMI eARC and Dirac Live room correction, the SA45 is built to form the heart of a genuinely high-end two-channel system.

180W Class G Amplification

At the heart of the SA45 is ARCAM’s latest 5th-generation Class G amplifier design, delivering 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms and up to 300 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Class G is designed to combine the refinement and low distortion associated with Class A operation at normal listening levels with greater efficiency and additional power when required.

High-Resolution ESS DAC

Digital conversion is handled by ARCAM’s latest implementation of ESS Hyperstream IV DAC technology in a balanced configuration. High-Resolution Music Streaming

Dirac Live Room Correction

The SA45 includes Dirac Live Room Correction, allowing the amplifier and speakers to be optimised for the acoustic characteristics of your room. Using the supplied measurement microphone, Dirac analyses the interaction between the loudspeakers and listening space before applying correction to improve tonal balance, imaging and overall coherence.

This is particularly useful in real-world rooms where walls, furniture and speaker placement can have a significant influence on sound quality.

MM and MC Phono Inputs

Vinyl playback is comprehensively catered for with dedicated moving magnet and moving coil phono inputs. This allows the SA45 to connect directly to a wide range of turntables and cartridges without requiring a separate phono preamplifier, making it an excellent choice for systems combining vinyl with high-resolution streaming.

HDMI eARC for TV Sound

A built-in HDMI eARC/ARC input allows the SA45 to become the audio centre of a premium two-channel television system.
