The Audiolab D9 is a flagship DAC (digital-to-analogue converter) built to redefine what’s possible in high-fidelity digital audio playback. At its core, the D9 features a high-specification ES9038PRO DAC chipset capable of handling ultra-high-resolution audio formats, including PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512. Every significant hi-res and lossless audio format is catered for, including FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, APE and WAV, as well as compressed legacy formats, alongside full MQA decoding With Audiolab’s proprietary signal path and jitter-reduction technologies, the D9 delivers astonishing clarity, spatial detail, and timing accuracy.

Versatile Connectivity

Equipped with a comprehensive array of inputs—including USB-B, USB-A, two optical, two coaxial and an AES3/EBU digital input - the D9 is ready to integrate seamlessly into any digital audio system. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs offer flexible options for connecting to amplifiers or powered speakers. Bluetooth is also catered for with support for LDAC high-definition format, alongside aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, regular aptX, AAC and SBC.

With an output of 500mW into 33 ohms, up to 4.8Vrms voltage, and a maximum output current of 180mA, the D9 confidently drives virtually any headphone, dynamic or planar—with authority and finesse.
