At the heart of LS50 Wireless II is KEF's 12th-generation Uni-Q® driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™). By positioning the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the mid/bass cone, Uni-Q acts as a single point source, creating a remarkably coherent sound with a wide, immersive listening area.

MAT™ works behind the tweeter to absorb unwanted sound radiating from the rear of the driver. This helps reduce distortion and produces cleaner, more natural high frequencies, allowing subtle details within your music to be heard with exceptional clarity.

Powerful Built-In Amplification

Each LS50 Wireless II speaker features dedicated amplification optimised specifically for its Uni-Q drivers. A 280-watt Class D amplifier powers each mid/bass driver, while a 100-watt Class AB amplifier drives each tweeter, providing a total system output of 760 watts.

Combined with KEF's Music Integrity Engine®, this active architecture allows precise control over every element of the speaker. Advanced digital signal processing optimises timing, phase and frequency response to deliver powerful bass, effortless dynamics and exceptional musical detail.

High-Resolution Wireless Streaming

The two speakers can communicate wirelessly for an exceptionally clean installation, supporting audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. Connecting the speakers using the supplied interspeaker cable increases resolution to 24-bit/192kHz.

Made for Music and TV

LS50 Wireless II can also become the audio centre of your home entertainment system. HDMI eARC allows a compatible television to connect directly to the speakers, bringing genuine stereo HiFi performance to films, television and gaming without requiring a separate amplifier or soundbar.

Optical, coaxial and analogue inputs make it easy to connect additional sources, including CD players, turntables with a suitable phono stage and other audio equipment.

Dedicated subwoofer outputs are provided on both speakers, making it simple to add a KEF subwoofer for even greater low-frequency extension and impact.
