The KEF Q6 Meta is a powerful and versatile three-way LCR speaker designed to deliver exceptional clarity, detail and impact in high-performance home cinema and HiFi systems. Unlike a conventional centre speaker, the Q6 Meta has been engineered for use as a left, centre or right channel, making it an excellent choice for creating a perfectly matched front soundstage.

At its heart is KEF's latest 12th-generation Uni-Q® driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™). By positioning the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange driver, Uni-Q acts as a single point source, helping sound disperse more evenly throughout the room and ensuring dialogue, vocals and effects remain clear and precisely positioned across a wider listening area.

Three-Way Driver Design

The Q6 Meta uses a dedicated three-way configuration to separate high, midrange and low frequencies for greater clarity and control.

The Uni-Q array combines a 100mm aluminium midrange driver with a 19mm vented aluminium dome tweeter, allowing voices and fine detail to be reproduced with excellent definition and natural tonal balance.

Low frequencies are handled by twin 165mm hybrid aluminium bass drivers, giving the Q6 Meta the scale and authority required for demanding movie soundtracks while maintaining the speed and control needed for music.

Metamaterial Absorption Technology

KEF's Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™) sits behind the tweeter and uses an intricate maze-like structure to absorb unwanted sound radiating from the rear of the driver.

By significantly reducing this unwanted energy, MAT helps minimise distortion and allows the tweeter to reproduce cleaner, more natural high frequencies with exceptional detail.

Centre Speaker or Full LCR System

One of the Q6 Meta's biggest advantages is its flexibility. Used horizontally beneath a television or projection screen, it makes an exceptional centre channel, reproducing dialogue with excellent clarity while anchoring voices and effects firmly to the picture.

Alternatively, three Q6 Meta speakers can be used across the front of a home cinema as dedicated left, centre and right channels. Using identical speakers across all three positions creates exceptional tonal consistency, allowing effects, dialogue and music to move seamlessly across the front soundstage.

Designed for the Q Series

The Q6 Meta has been engineered to integrate seamlessly with the latest KEF Q Series with MAT™, making it easy to build a tonally matched surround sound system.

Partner it with Q Series floorstanding or bookshelf speakers for the main channels, Q4 Meta on-wall speakers for surround duties and Q8 Meta speakers for Dolby Atmos height channels to create a complete KEF home cinema system.

Available in Satin Black, Satin White and Walnut, the Q6 Meta can be matched perfectly with the rest of the Q Series.
