KEF R2 Meta Three-way Centre Channel Speaker
Designed to match any of the R Series speakers, the R2 Meta boasts the 12th generation Uni-Q® driver array with MAT™ and two 5.25” hybrid aluminium bass drivers. It is compact enough to use in smaller rooms while being capable of high-quality sound with even the most dynamic music and movies. This design is highly versatile and can also be used in an LCR (Left-Centre-Right) configuration.
Revolutionary MAT technology improves performance
The "Meta" in this speaker's name comes from KEF's innovative Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) — a highly complex, maze-like structure that absorbs unwanted sound waves coming from the rear of the tweeter. The resulting sound is clearer, purer, and more detailed.
12th Generation Uni-Q® driver array for better clarity and accuracy
KEF's patented Uni-Q technology places the R2 Meta's 1" vented aluminium dome tweeter in the acoustic centre of the 5" aluminium cone midrange driver. This arrangement allows the sound from the two drivers to reach our ears at the same time, resulting in more natural sound. Uni-Q technology is now in its 12th generation, and the engineers at KEF have designed this version to reduce distortion caused by several factors, as well as optimising it to take full advantage of the aforementioned MAT absorber.
Hybrid Aluminium Bass Woofers
Each of the two 5-1/4" hybrid aluminium woofers is made up of a shallow aluminium skin atop a paper cone. This hybrid design allows very precise movement for punchy, agile bass.

We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses on all orders over £120. A delivery charge of £7.50 will apply to orders under £120.
In stock items will be shipped on a next day service unless a specific delivery date has been requested. Individual product pages will advise on expected delivery times for non-stock items. Cut-off time for next day delivery is 15.00 Monday-Friday.
In stock items ordered after 15.00 on Friday will be shipped on the following Monday. Orders placed on Saturday/Sunday will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery. (please allow an extra day if a bank holiday falls within this period).
Our delivery partner DPD offers an interactive messaging service and will provide a 1-hour time window for your delivery so please provide a mobile phone number where possible.
* Remote and offshore locations are excluded from the free delivery service. For these locations we offer a standard 2-3 day delivery service at £16 per item.

Cancellations & Returns
At Weybridge Audio we want our customers to be happy with their purchase which is why we offer a 30-day no-hassle return policy on all products purchased through our website. If you would like to return an item please call us on 01932 851121 or email to sales@weybridge-audio.co.uk including your name, address, and original order number. The cost of returning an item is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty in which case we will arrange to collect the faulty item at our expense.
Items must be returned to us in 'as new' condition, complete with all original packaging and accessories. Refunds will be processed within 5 days of receiving the item, subject to the above terms being met.
