The Mission 778S is Mission's first dedicated wireless music streamer, bringing audiophile-grade streaming performance to your hi-fi system. Designed to perfectly complement the acclaimed Mission 778X integrated amplifier, the 778S combines elegant retro-inspired styling with cutting-edge streaming technology, delivering exceptional sound quality from your favourite music services and digital libraries.
Developed in partnership with streaming specialists Silent Angel, the 778S provides a stable, intuitive and high-performance streaming platform with effortless control via the dedicated Mission 778S app. Enjoy seamless access to Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay 2, TuneIn Internet Radio, DLNA music libraries and Roon Ready playback, whether you're streaming over Wi-Fi or Gigabit Ethernet.
At the heart of the 778S is the acclaimed ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M 32-bit Reference DAC, delivering outstanding clarity, exceptional detail and remarkably low noise. All incoming PCM audio can be upsampled to 352.8kHz or 384kHz for enhanced performance, while selectable DAC reconstruction filters allow you to tailor the sound to suit your listening preferences.
The 778S is equally at home in a traditional hi-fi system or a modern digital setup. Balanced XLR and RCA analogue outputs make it easy to connect directly to an amplifier, while optical, coaxial and USB audio outputs provide flexibility when partnering with an external DAC. A built-in headphone amplifier also allows for high-quality private listening.
Finished in the same compact half-width aluminium chassis as the Mission 778X and 778CDT, the 778S creates a beautifully matched, space-saving hi-fi system that blends classic styling with modern convenience.

Delivery & Returns

We offer free next day delivery on all orders over £99 (item must be in stock). For orders under £99 a delivery charge of £7.50 will be applied.
Cut-off time for next day delivery is 3pm Monday-Friday and 1.00pm Saturday. Items ordered after 1pm on Saturday or on Sunday will be shipped on Monday for Tuesday delivery. (please allow an extra day if a bank holiday falls within this period).
Our delivery partner DPD offers an interactive messaging service and will provide a 1-hour time window for your delivery so please provide a mobile phone number where possible.
Some items are not available on a next day delivery service, in these cases the selected product page will display the expected delivery time. If you would like to double check the delivery time prior to ordering please call 01932 851121 or email sales@weybridge-audio.co.uk.
* Remote and offshore locations are excluded from the free delivery service. For these locations we offer a standard 2-3 day delivery
service at £16 per item.

Cancellations & Returns
At Weybridge Audio we want our customers to be happy with their purchase which is why we offer a 30-day no-hassle return policy on all products purchased through our website. If you would like to return an item please call us on 01932 851121 or email to sales@weybridge-audio.co.uk including your name, address, and original order number. The cost of returning an item is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty in which case we will arrange to collect the faulty item at our expense.
Items must be returned to us in 'as new' condition, complete with all original packaging and accessories. Refunds will be processed within 5 days of receiving the item, subject to the above terms being met.
