The Pro-Ject MaiA S3 is a compact and versatile integrated amplifier designed to bring analogue, digital and wireless sources together in one neat hi-fi component.

Despite its small footprint, the MaiA S3 offers eight inputs, a built-in phono stage, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, high-resolution digital inputs and a dedicated headphone output. It is an ideal choice for anyone wanting a flexible stereo amplifier without the size of a traditional full-width design.

Compact but Highly Versatile

The MaiA S3 provides a broad range of connectivity for both modern and traditional hi-fi systems. Three analogue RCA inputs can accommodate CD players, tuners and streamers, while the dedicated MM phono input enables simple connection to a turntable.

Digital sources can be connected via one coaxial and two optical inputs, with support for signals up to 24-bit/192kHz.

Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD also allows convenient wireless playback from compatible phones, tablets and computers.

Built-In High-Resolution DAC

The digital section uses a Cirrus Logic CS4344 DAC, supporting digital playback up to 24-bit/192kHz. This allows compatible televisions, CD transports, streamers and other digital sources to connect directly to the amplifier without requiring a separate DAC.

Quality Stereo Amplification

The MaiA S3 delivers 23 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 40 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Its dual-mono design and carefully laid-out internal circuitry help maintain low noise and good channel separation, while the compact aluminium chassis protects the electronics from unwanted interference.

Headphones and Subwoofer Output

A front-mounted 6.3mm headphone output allows private listening with headphones from 16 to 600 ohms. The variable RCA output can also be used to connect an active subwoofer or a second power amplifier, giving the MaiA S3 useful flexibility as a system grows.
