Rotel A14 MKII Integrated Amplifier
The Rotel A14 MKII is a versatile integrated amplifier designed to bring together traditional hi-fi sources, digital audio, Bluetooth streaming and vinyl playback in one refined component.
Delivering 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms and up to 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the A14 MKII has the power and control to drive a wide range of bookshelf and floorstanding speakers, while its Class AB design retains the smooth, natural presentation for which Rotel is well known.
Powerful Class AB Amplification
At the heart of the A14 MKII is a carefully engineered Class AB amplifier stage, supported by a substantial power supply designed to deliver clean and stable current to the loudspeakers. With 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the A14 MKII offers enough headroom for demanding music while maintaining excellent control at lower listening levels.
A damping factor of 220 further helps the amplifier maintain tight control over connected loudspeakers, particularly through the bass.
High-Resolution Digital Audio
The A14 MKII features a comprehensive digital section with support for high-resolution audio. Its coaxial and optical inputs support PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz, while the PC-USB input supports resolutions up to 32-bit/384kHz when used in USB Audio Class 2.0 mode.
This makes the A14 MKII a strong choice for customers using computers, digital transports, network streamers and other high-resolution digital sources.
aptX HD Bluetooth
Built-in Bluetooth provides a simple way to stream music wirelessly from compatible phones, tablets and computers. Support for aptX HD and AAC helps maintain better sound quality than basic Bluetooth connections, making wireless listening convenient without compromising the amplifier’s hi-fi credentials.
Moving Magnet Phono Stage
Vinyl users are well catered for with a built-in moving magnet phono input. This allows a compatible turntable to connect directly to the A14 MKII without the need for a separate phono preamplifier, making it easy to combine analogue and digital sources in one system.
Flexible Analogue Connectivity
Alongside the phono input, the A14 MKII provides a generous range of line-level analogue connections for traditional hi-fi components.
Inputs are provided for sources such as CD players, tuners and external streamers, while a stereo preamp output allows the amplifier to be connected to an external power amplifier or active subwoofer system where required.
PC-USB and Roon Tested
The rear-panel PC-USB connection allows the A14 MKII to operate as a high-quality USB DAC when connected to a computer. It is also Roon Tested, helping ensure reliable integration when used within a Roon-based music system.
Speaker A and B Outputs
Two sets of speaker terminals are provided, allowing the A14 MKII to drive either one or two pairs of compatible loudspeakers. This can be useful for secondary listening areas, speaker comparisons or customers who want greater flexibility from a single amplifier.
Classic Rotel Styling
The A14 MKII features Rotel’s familiar understated design, with a clean front panel, clear display and intuitive controls.
Available in Black or Silver, it integrates easily with both contemporary and traditional hi-fi systems and partners particularly well with Rotel CD players, streamers and source components.
