Natural, Musical Performance

Sabre-R uses a specially developed 130mm / 5-inch Ruark NS+ woofer alongside a Ruark silk dome tweeter, creating a smooth and well-balanced two-way design.

The long-throw bass/mid driver provides surprisingly authoritative low-frequency performance from the compact enclosure, while the soft dome tweeter delivers clean, detailed and refined high frequencies.

Careful crossover development ensures the two drive units integrate seamlessly, giving Sabre-R a natural tonal balance, clear vocals and a spacious stereo image.

Carefully Tuned Bass Reflex Cabinet

The Sabre-R cabinet has been developed to provide the drivers with an acoustically stable platform while minimising unwanted resonance.

Its dual-flared tuned bass reflex port is designed to extend bass response while reducing turbulence and unwanted port noise. With a typical in-room response reaching down to 45Hz, Sabre-R delivers impressive weight and scale for a loudspeaker of its size.

Available in Fused Walnut veneer or Satin Charcoal lacquer, each finish is complemented by a removable magnetic fabric grille. The compact proportions allow Sabre-R to integrate comfortably into living spaces where larger loudspeakers may dominate the room.

Optional elastomer feet are supplied for bookshelf or furniture placement, while dedicated speaker stands can be used to achieve optimum positioning and stereo performance.

Flexible Amplifier Matching

With a 6-ohm nominal impedance, 86dB sensitivity and a recommended amplifier power of 25–100 watts, Sabre-R is suitable for use with a wide variety of modern integrated amplifiers and music systems.

Two pairs of high-quality binding posts allow either conventional single-wire or bi-wire connection, offering flexibility when building or upgrading a hi-fi system.
