Sonos Beam Ultra Entertainment Set With Sub Mini

The Sonos Beam Ultra with Sub Mini Bundle is a compact home-cinema system designed to deliver immersive Dolby Atmos sound, clearer dialogue and deeper bass without filling the room with large speakers and cables.

Beam Ultra provides the main TV and music performance, using nine Class-D amplifiers, dedicated upward-firing drivers and advanced processing to create an expansive 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos presentation from a compact soundbar. Sub Mini adds the low-frequency impact, extending bass response down to around 25Hz while remaining discreet enough for smaller and medium-sized rooms.

Together, they form a simple and highly effective upgrade for TV, films, gaming and music.

Compact Dolby Atmos Home Cinema

Beam Ultra is designed to produce a much larger soundstage than its compact dimensions might suggest. Its acoustic system combines five tweeters and four low-profile woofers, including dedicated side-firing and upward-firing drivers, allowing Dolby Atmos soundtracks to create a greater sense of width, height and movement around the room.

Add Sub Mini and the soundbar is freed from having to reproduce the deepest bass itself, helping the whole system sound cleaner, more dynamic and more effortless.

Deeper Bass with Sub Mini

Sub Mini uses dual inward-facing 6-inch woofers in a sealed cabinet. The opposing driver arrangement creates a force-cancelling effect, reducing unwanted cabinet vibration while producing deep, controlled bass. With response extending down to approximately 25Hz, Sub Mini adds extra weight to explosions, film soundtracks and music without the size of a full-scale subwoofer. Because it connects wirelessly to Beam Ultra, placement is flexible and only a mains cable is required.

Clearer Dialogue

Beam Ultra includes AI Speech Enhancement, designed to improve dialogue clarity when voices might otherwise become lost beneath music, effects or background noise. Four levels of Speech Enhancement can be selected in the Sonos app, making it easy to tailor vocal clarity to the programme and room.

For evening viewing, Night Sound reduces the impact of loud effects while bringing quieter details forward.

HDMI eARC Connection

Beam Ultra connects directly to a compatible television via HDMI eARC or ARC using the supplied HDMI cable. Once connected, your existing TV remote can normally continue to control the volume, keeping everyday operation straightforward.

HDMI eARC also enables support for higher-bandwidth formats including Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Atmos where available from compatible sources and televisions.

Trueplay Room Tuning

Sonos Trueplay measures the acoustics of the listening room and adjusts the system accordingly. Beam Ultra supports Trueplay tuning with compatible iOS and Android devices, while Sub Mini is automatically integrated into the system so that its bass output remains balanced with the soundbar. Bass, treble and loudness can also be adjusted manually through the Sonos app.

Wireless Music Streaming

Away from television duties, Beam Ultra also works as a versatile wireless music system. You can play music using the Sonos app or compatible services, while Apple AirPlay 2 allows direct streaming from Apple devices. Beam Ultra also includes Bluetooth 5.3, providing another convenient way to play music directly from compatible smartphones and tablets.

Easy Sonos App Control

The Sonos app provides access to system setup, EQ, Speech Enhancement, Night Sound, room grouping and streaming services. Sub Mini is added to Beam Ultra through the same app and then operates automatically as part of the home-cinema system.

Expand the System Later

The Beam Ultra and Sub Mini package can also form the starting point for a larger Sonos surround system. Compatible Sonos speakers can be added later as rear surrounds, allowing the system to develop into a more immersive home-cinema setup without replacing the existing soundbar or subwoofer.
