In the early 1980s, Wharfedale created the blueprint for modern ‘budget’ hi-fi speakers when it made the first-ever Diamond. Over the last four decades the Wharfedale Diamond has become one of the most successful speaker ranges of all time. The latest Diamond 12 Series is the best DIAMOND range yet, developed in collaboration with Karl-Heinz Fink – one of the most successful loudspeaker designers on the planet.
The result is classic Wharfedale Diamond, offering exceptional value, industrial design that’s cool and contemporary yet still distinctly Wharfedale, and sound that delivers a new ‘budget’ benchmark through exceptional acoustic design and engineering.
The Diamond 12.1 is a compact, bookshelf (or standmount) speaker that offers the best of both worlds – compact size with power and detail.
Perfect for 2-channel Hi-Fi systems, thanks to its intricate performance but also compact and capable for immersive home theatre, the Diamond 12.1 is designed and certified to perform, regardless of room size and application.
New high-tech drivers
These speakers are a complete redesign from the previous generation. The 5-inch Klarity™ woofer is formulated from a blend of Polypropylene and mica, adding stiffness to reduce flexing, enabling a lightweight cone with high rigidity, low colouration and lightning-fast response. Combined with the 1-inch woven textile tweeter, the Diamond 12.1’s offer sound that's impressively accurate and smooth with impressive bass.
Multi Talented
The Diamond 12’s work well with a wide range of source equipment including all-in-one systems and price compatible separate components. With Wharfedale offering a range of models in the Diamond 12 line up the 12.1’s would also make excellent surround sound speakers in a multi-channel home cinema system.

We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses on all orders over £120. A delivery charge of £7.50 will apply to orders under £120.
In stock items will be shipped on a next day service unless a specific delivery date has been requested. Individual product pages will advise on expected delivery times for non-stock items. If you would like to check the delivery time prior to ordering please call 01932 851121 or email sales@weybridge-audio.co.uk.
Cut-off time for next day delivery is 15.00 Monday-Friday.
In stock items ordered after 15.00 on Friday will be shipped on the following Monday. Orders placed on Saturday/Sunday will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery. (please allow an extra day if a bank holiday falls within this period).
Our delivery partner DPD offers an interactive messaging service and will provide a 1-hour time window for your delivery so please provide a mobile phone number where possible.
* Remote and offshore locations are excluded from the free delivery service. For these locations we offer a standard 2-3 day delivery service at £16 per item.

Cancellations & Returns
At Weybridge Audio we want our customers to be happy with their purchase which is why we offer a 30-day no-hassle return policy on all products purchased through our website. If you would like to return an item please call us on 01932 851121 or email to sales@weybridge-audio.co.uk including your name, address, and original order number. The cost of returning an item is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty in which case we will arrange to collect the faulty item at our expense.
Items must be returned to us in 'as new' condition, complete with all original packaging and accessories. Refunds will be processed within 5 days of receiving the item, subject to the above terms being met.
