Versatility is key to the 9000A’s appeal, loaded with digital and analogue source connection, wireless connectivity for portable devices, an all-new phono stage to cater for vinyl playback and the usual, class-leading amplification for loudspeakers and headphones.

Power in abundance

The 9000A’s all-new Class AB power amplifier offers an impressive 100w per channel into 8 ohms, more than enough power to fill the largest spaces and drive the most demanding speakers. Featuring a large toroidal transformer and quad 15,000uF output capacitors, the 9000A always has plenty in reserve.

All about the sound

As well as the impressive power, 9000A also boasts a whole array of premium Audiolab tech including their highly regarded CFB (Complementary Feedback) technology, an ESS 9038PRO flagship 32-bit DAC and state-of-the-art hi-res audio support.

Versatile connectivity

The 9000A incorporates state-of-the art digital-to-analogue signal conversion, enabling digital sources to be connected directly without an external DAC. A USB Type B input caters for PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets and digital storage devices, alongside four S/PDIF digital inputs – two coaxial and two optical. There are also four line-level analogue inputs – three stereo RCA and one stereo XLR for balanced connectivity – plus an MM phono input for a turntable.

aptX HD Bluetooth built-in

9000A is equipped with Bluetooth aptX HD. Pair your compatible smartphone, tablet or laptop and take advantage of the high-end integrated DAC. Enjoy Hi-Res sound quality, wirelessly, perfect for streaming from your favourite music service.

High performance MM phono stage

Hook up a premium turntable and Audiolab’s 9000A will help you get the best from your precious vinyl collection. A built-in Moving Magnet (MM) phono stage with precision RIAA equalisation sets the 9000A phono stage apart from other lesser designs, unlocking all detail and emotion within those grooves.

Exceptional build and design

The 9000A introduces a smart new aesthetic, as befits a new flagship range. Solidly built and impeccably finished, the amp’s appearance reflects the crisp elegance and controlled muscularity of its sound. Three rotary controls and an absence of buttons (except for the power switch) give the 9000A’s fascia a clean, assured appearance, augmented with a high quality 4.3in colour screen – like a sharp Saville Row suit complemented by a perfectly appointed accessory
