The Goldring E3 is the pinnacle of the company's value-driven E Series. It's a versatile moving magnet cartridge that works well with the majority of budget to medium priced turntables. It features a bonded elliptical stylus that is shaped to mimic the cutting head that's used to make a record groove, this means it can more accurately reproduce the stereo information in the record groove, providing better channel separation and a more involving and musical sound stage.

Precise adjustment

The E3 cartridge features a special adjustment screw so that you can make the most precise adjustments to cartridge alignment. The result is optimised channel balance with zero degrees of horizontal tracking adjustment required. Goldring History

Goldring has been around since 1906, when two Czech brothers started making parts for gramophones in their Berlin factory. They trademarked the "gold ring" as a mark of quality 20 years later, and the name stuck.

The company has been based in England since 1933, and their "pickups" became audiophile staples during the heyday of hi-fi audio in the 1960s and 1970s.
