Sony's flagship HT-A7000 sound bar boasts 11 built-in speakers and advanced sound processing technology to deliver a truly cinematic experience. This award winning sound bar features dedicated height and surround sound channels, and supports the latest 3D immersive multichannel audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Sound is beamed all around, bouncing off your ceiling and walls to produce a deeply immersive soundstage, placing you right in the middle of the action. HT-A7000 also has a pair of built-in subwoofers to underpin the action onscreen with deep, punchy bass.

Versatile Music Streaming Options

The HT-A7000 offers several options for playing your music and other content wirelessly. There's Bluetooth built-in for mobile devices, plus Wi-Fi streaming for playing files on your home network. Apple AirPlay 2 makes it a breeze to play music and more from iOS® devices and for Android™ users the HT-A7000 has Chromecast built-in. 

You can even control the sound bar and make song selections using a Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice controller (sold separately).

Latest HDMI Specs

HTA-7000 is compatible with the very latest HDMI 2.1 video specifications, allowing pass-through of both 4K/120Hz and 8K video sources. The bar's video passthrough also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) formats like Dolby Vision, so you can maintain the best possible picture quality from external sources like a Blu-ray player or games console. With eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), you can also receive uncompressed audio signals including Dolby Atmos through a single HDMI connection to an eARC-equipped TV.

Hi-Res Music Playback

If you have a collection of high-resolution music files, you can play them via the USB port. Sony’s clever DSEE Extreme™ (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) also upscales lower quality digital audio files, so you can enjoy the best sound quality possible.

Perfect Partners

The HT-A7000 works perfectly with any make of TV, but integration is taken to a different level when connected to a compatible Sony BRAVIA TV. If you connect the HT-A7000 to a Sony BRAVIA TV, the sound bar's settings are automatically added to the TV's Quick Settings menu to make operation simpler.

Future Upgrade Options

The HT-A7000 sounds superb on its own but in larger rooms or for those that love bass you can add a wireless subwoofer to take the bass performance to a new level. Choose from the 200-watt SA-SW3 or the larger 300-watt SA-SW5. Both these subwoofers are designed to complement the HT-A7000 and connect wirelessly for easy placement and simple setup. Just turn them on, and they'll automatically pair in seconds.
