Denon has upgraded the HDMI specs of this latest model to cater for the growing 8K video and next-gen gaming market. Previous models introduced limited 8K processing, along with gaming features like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Quick Frame Transport (QFT). These features have been applied to the AVR-X2800H on three HDMI inputs and both HDMI outputs, offering superb flexibility when it comes to connecting up other devices. This AV receiver supports two-source, two-zone audio. By connecting a pair of speakers in a second room to the AV receiver, it’s possible to enjoy 5.1 channel surround sound in the main room and a separate source or music stream in the second room, such as a den or patio. The award-winning Denon Setup Assistant supplies simple, clear instructions to get started. Just connect your AV receiver to your TV and follow the instructions on the TV screen to connect your speakers, perform speaker measurements, and connect source devices. For additional convenience, the AV receiver renames HDMI inputs automatically when connected or you can rename manually at your convenience.
